Nike has announced that they will be holding a raffle in which they will be giving away 89 pairs of the Nike Mag shoes. “Today, Nike and The Michael J. Fox Foundation proudly announce the release of the 2016 Nike Mag — a limited-edition release of only 89 pairs available globally through an online draw — to once again channel the excitement of the Nike Mag to raise awareness in the fight against Parkinson’s disease and the Foundation’s tireless efforts to speed a cure.”
To take part, you’ll have to buy a ticket which you can do so via Nike’s website or the Nike+ app. Each ticket is priced at $10 each and it will be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation. As is the case with all raffles, the more tickets you buy, the higher the chance of you winning. Given that these shoes are limited edition, we guess a lot of sneakerheads out there will be dropping some serious cash just to get their hands on it.
This raffle is only open to those in the US and Canada, but Nike is also going to be holding an auction in Hong Kong, London, and New York where one pair will be auctioned off at each event, so we guess that’s a last-ditch effort to get them if you’re really desperate for it.
