Star Wars fans are anxiously waiting for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It’s a spin-off of the main franchise and while events take place in this movie around the same time as they do in the original films, this movie is going to have a plot of its own and a completely separate cast. The new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer has been released today and it drops some hints about the plot.
The second trailer for this highly anticipated movie shows us a glimpse of the relationship between protagonist Jyn Erso and her father, a character that appears to have played a key part in designing the infamous Death Star. This was alluded to in the first trailer and the hint is more substantial this time around in the second trailer.
We get to see Erso deliver some lines and get some great visuals set to a symphonic backing track that makes you feel that this movie is going to be quite epic. Whether or not diehard Star Wars fans like it remains to be seen.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit the big screen later this year on December 16th in the United States.
