We’ve all known for a while now that a new God of War game is in the pipeline for PlayStation 4 and fans of the franchise obviously want to find out more about it. However, they won’t be able to get more information about it at the PlayStation Experience event in December because game director Cory Barlog has confirmed that the new God of War game is not going to be making an appearance at the upcoming PlayStation Experience event.
Cory Barlog confirmed via Twitter that he “won’t be showing anything of the game at PSX,” even though he’s going to be at the event, but Barlog has clarified that he’s only going to attend PlayStation Experience to “hang out with PlayStation fans and play games.”
To appease fans who might not like the fact that Sony won’t show anything about the new game at its own community event, Barlog teased that “we will be showing something really awesome when it is ready,” he didn’t specify when it’s going to be ready so we might be in for a long wait.
PlayStation Experience 2016 has been scheduled for December 3th and 4th, it will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center. Sony is yet to confirm the lineup of games that will be demonstrated at the event and it hasn’t dropped any hints of what might be announced there.
