This year we saw Motorola launch a variety of handsets, including the Moto Z lineup which appears to be the company’s flagship for 2016. However could there be more devices in the works? A recent tweet by Evan Blass certainly seems to allude to that as he seemed to hint that a new Motorola handset could be announced.
In his tweet, Blass posted a rendering of a Motorola device. He then credited the image to a company called ONWHITE.CA which is apparently a design firm from Toronto, Canada. The company describes itself as a “globally recognized image production specialist in Photography and Creative Retouching. Whether you need to build an image from scratch or just beautify one, onwhite can help.”
Based on this, we have to wonder if the rendering created was commissioned by Motorola/Lenovo and was accidentally revealed by the company, or if this could be some kind of fan rendering or just an imagining of what the phone could look like. However Blass isn’t one to post about concepts so it is possible that maybe there could be a new Motorola phone, which some have speculated to be the Moto X (2016).
Now Motorola did state that despite the Moto Zs being their newer handsets that they will not be replacing the Moto X, so could this device be it? What do you guys make of it?
