If you’re wonder what Microsoft has in mind for new hardware or software, you might be interested to learn that the company has announced an event that they will be holding on the 26th of October. The company does not detail what they plan on announcing, but it seems that it will be Windows 10 related.
The invite reads, “Join us to see what’s next for Windows 10, save the date to watch the livestream of our #MicrosoftEvent in New York City on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 10AM EDT/7AM PDT.” Now the announcement could really be just about anything, but from what we have heard from the rumor, perhaps new Surface hardware is a possibility.
We have been hearing rumors dating back to June that Microsoft is apparently working on an iMac competitor by creating an AIO Surface PC. We then heard last month that this alleged PC will be revealed in October, and sure enough with Microsoft’s announcement taking place in October, it hardly seems like a coincidence, right?
Unfortunately if you were hoping for other Microsoft products, like a new tablet or maybe even the Surface Phone, you might be disappointed because last we heard, the Surface Phone won’t be announced anytime soon. Either way check back with in the coming weeks if you’d like to know the details.
