You may or may not have heard about LeEco. It’s a Chinese company that’s looking to take the U.S. by storm. The company is conducting its launch event for this lucrative market today and the first piece of hardware it has announced is the uMax85. It’s an 85 inch 4K TV that runs on Google’s Android TV platform. LeEco recently made headlines by acquiring one of the biggest TV manufacturers in the country – Vizio – for $2 billion, however, it does maintain a separate LeEco-branded TV division.

The uMax85 is the company’s flagship TV which supports 4K, both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision, as well as premium speakers created in partnership with Harmon Kardon. It costs $4,999 but the company is offering a $1,000 instant rebate which brings the price down to $3,999.

The company is also bringing its Super4 TV series to the United States. It’s offering three different models – the X43 Pro, X55, and the X65 in the country. All of these TVs have support for 4K but the company is yet to confirm if they also have support for both HDR formats.

LeEco, a company that’s commonly referred to as “the Netflix of China,” also announced the launch of a new content service today with launch partners like Lionsgate, MGM, Showtime, Vice, Sling, and Magnolia Pictures to name a few.

It didn’t go into a lot of details about the form this content service is going to take but it will have something to do with its purchase of Vizio, presumably.
