It was confirmed earlier this year that 2K Games is working on a new Mafia title. There hasn’t been a new addition to this franchise in years which is why fans are very excited to see what Mafia 3 brings to the table. Over the past few months, 2K Games has steadily been revealing more information about this title and releasing trailers as well as gameplay videos to offer a glimpse of what this game has to offer. It has released a new Mafia 3 trailer today which explains the game’s connection with its predecessor, Mafia 2.
Mafia 3 will soon be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. 2K Games recently confirmed its post-launch DLC plans for this title, revealing all of the free content as well as paid expansions which will be released after this game arrives.
If you’ve played Mafia 2 you’ll definitely want to watch this trailer to understand the connection between these two titles, it also explains the inclusion of former protagonist Vito Scaletta, so it’s quite informative.
2K Games actually re-released Mafia 2 a few months ago. The new version released on Steam included all downloadable content for an attractive price so that players could refresh their memory before they picked up the new title.
Mafia 3 is going to be released for the aforementioned platforms on October 7th.
