According to reports, it looks like the feature has begun rolling out to some users. The feature was announced earlier this March where users could search for apps on Google, and there would be a “Try now” button that when they click, will let them stream the app for 10 minutes before making a decision.
Nothing has changed since except its availability, which we are hearing is only open to those in the US for now, but we expect it could eventually make its way to other markets. There have been some reports of the feature crashing, but other than that it appears to be working as intended.
We should also note that this feature seems to be only applicable to games and not other apps. So if you want to try other apps, you’ll have to do it the old fashioned way where you pay for it first, try it out, and then request a refund if you don’t like it.
