As if that wasn’t enough, it looks like Google has made it easier for iPhone users to jump ship by including an adapter inside the boxes of the Pixel phones. What this adapter does is that it lets users connect your Pixel phone directly to the iPhone, thus allowing for data to be transferred between devices on the spot.
This includes contacts, photos, and even iMessage messages. Now making the switch and transferring data from an iPhone to an Android device (and vice versa) isn’t exactly new and there have been solutions offered in the past, such as apps. However with Google actually including hardware that makes the switch possible, seamless, and relatively painless, it should make things rather interesting.
Of course whether or not users will take advantage of this and make the switch remains to be seen, but at least the option is there for those who want to take advantage of it.
