One of the “problems” of the iPhone 7 is that it has done away with the headphone jack. This means that users who want to connect their headphones will either need to do so wirelessly, or connect it via Lightning. The only problem with that is by connecting it via Lightning means you can’t charge your phone.
There are some alternatives, such as purchasing the Lightning Dock or opting for third-party solutions which involve unwieldy and bulky dongles, or at least that was until the Auxillite was introduced. This is an accessory for the iPhone 7 that we have to say is probably one of the more beautiful and elegant solutions available in the market today.
Instead of designing the Auxillite as a dongle, its creators have instead chosen to create it as some kind of “bar” in which it connects via the Lightning port and extends outwards horizontally instead of vertically, as you can see in the video above. This will result in an accessory that won’t be bulky to dangle weirdly from your phone.
One end will feature a Lightning port for charging, and the other end will sport the 3.5mm jack in which you can plug your headphones into. Like we said, it is a beautiful solution to an existing problem and if you’d like to pledge your support, its creators have launched the Auxillite on Kickstarter and are trying to raise funds for it.
