According to a report from yesterday, it was suggested that Apple could be hosting an event on the 27th of October in which their new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops could be announced. Turns out the rumors of the event are true because Apple has since sent out invites for their “Hello Again” event which will indeed be held on the 27th of October.
We know that there are some who were initially skeptical of the report because it does seem like Apple is cutting it pretty close, but it looks like the invites have finally arrived a week ahead of the event. It has yet to be confirmed what the event will be about, but given the rumors there is a very good chance that we could be looking at new MacBooks.
Last we heard, the MacBook Pro would be the one that will be getting the most attention as this will be the biggest revamp that Apple has done in the past few years. The laptop is rumored to feature an OLED touchpanel which would replace the row of function keys, and we have also heard that it might lose the regular USB ports in favor of USB-C, but thankfully unlike the 12-inch MacBook, the MacBook Pro is said to have at least four USB-C ports.
The MacBook Air is also said to be getting a refresh, but only the 13-inch model and not the 11-inch. In any case we guess we will find out what exactly Apple has planned come next Thursday, so do check back with us then for more updates!
