If you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold you must be very anxious towards the end of every month to find out which games will be offered for free as part of the Xbox Games with Gold program. Microsoft is ending the wait for you today as it has confirmed the Xbox Games with Gold titles for October 2016. Subscribers will be getting four new titles next month – two for Xbox One and two for its predecessor – and since they are backwards compatible they will be available to Xbox One owners as well.
October brings two ID@Xbox games for the Xbox One. The first is Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings which is a $19.99 value. It’s a detailed baseball simulation that has a “lighthearted, friendly look.” Xbox One owners can download this game for free from October 1st to 31st.
The Escapists is the second title for Xbox One which also costs $19.99 normally. It puts players in a prison where they have to come up with a clever plan to escape, but it’s easier said than done. This title will be available as a free download from October 16th to November 15th.
MX vs ATV Reflex and I Am Alive are both free for Xbox One, the former from October 1st to 15th and the latter from October 16th to 31st. They are backwards compatible titles so they will be available for download on Xbox One as well. All you need to get them is an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
