The Nintendo NX isn’t even out yet and basically save for the rumors and speculation, no one has any idea what Nintendo is up to. However it seems that Ubisoft is rather excited about the NX, and we’re not sure if they’re working with Nintendo to hype up the console, or if they’re genuinely thrilled with what Nintendo’s got so far.During a recent Ubisoft presentation, the company’s CEO Yves Guillemot sung the praises of the console. He was quoted as saying, “The new Nintendo [console] is a fantastic machine. It’s really a new approach, it’s really Nintendo, [which is] coming with something new again. We love it.”
When asked about his enthusiasm and his faith in Nintendo, Guillemot said, “What we see is, players are more open when new hardware is coming. So we have the chance to come with something we have never done before, because we know that if we are the first there, people will try our game and maybe we’ll be able to get into that new genre.”
Like we said, right now it’s anyone’s guess as to what Nintendo is up to, but the rumors have suggested we could be looking at some kind of handheld hybrid, which The Pokemon Company’s CEO seemed to have hinted at as well, but hopefully more details will be revealed in the coming months leading up to its release in March 2017.
