Ubisoft announced in June this year that in order to celebrate its 30th anniversary it’s going to release a free game for PC every month until the end of 2016. The company has now confirmed that The Crew on PC is going to be free for a limited time as part of its UBI30 promotion. PC gamers can download this game right now for absolutely no charge at all and they will be able to keep it for as long as they want.
Ubisoft kicked things off with one of the most popular titles it has ever created: we got Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. In July 2016 it offered the original Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell as a free download while August brought Rayman Origins.
For the month of September 2016, Ubisoft is allowing PC gamers to download and play The Crew for free. This game was released in 2014 and Ubisoft says that this was an important game as it was the first fully connected open world that it ever created.
“Recreating the full US territory from East Coast to West Coast, this game offers endless hours of driving across the most iconic American spots,” the company adds.
