The same was done when the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were announced, with Apple sharing the increase in hours that users could expect with the new batteries. However for those curious about the actual sizes, fret not as a listing on TENAA (China’s version of the FCC) has revealed the battery size of the iPhone 7 as 1,960mAh (similar to an earlier rumor), while the iPhone 7 Plus packs a 2,900mAh battery.
To give you guys a bit of context, the iPhone 6s had a 1,715mAh battery, while the iPhone 6s Plus had a 2,750mAh battery. Granted the jump in battery sizes isn’t all that much, but we suppose every little bit counts. Let’s not forget that how long your phone lasts in real life has a lot to do with how you use it as well.
