According to a recent survey conducted by SurveyMonkey, it has been found that 35% of customers in the US are opting for a refund rather than an exchange. This is based on a survey which polled about 507 customers, which is obviously not a very large number so don’t take the results as gospel for now.
In addition to 35% opting for a refund, it was found that 26% plan to switch to an iPhone instead. This seems to be in line with an earlier report in which it was suggested that estimates of how many iPhone 7s Apple could sell have been increased due to the Note 7’s fiasco which could sway some customers over to Apple’s side of the fence.
That being said, these numbers don’t quite add up what Samsung has told us, which is that more than 50% of the Note 7 handsets in the US have gone through the exchange process and that 90% of customer had chosen to get a new Note 7, but either what would you guys have done? Refund? Exchange? Go a completely different direction?
