Capcom has recently released a patch for Street Fighter V for the PC which includes adding Urien to the roster of characters, and also some anti-cheating fixes. However these fixes require kernel access to the PC, which in turn prompts the user account control window to pop up before launching.
Unfortunately for some gamers, users are reporting troubles launching the game and in some cases, gamers were even met with the blue screen of death. The good news is that Capcom is well aware of the problems the latest patch has caused and in a post on Twitter, the company has announced that they will be rolling back the security measures for now.
“We are in the process of rolling back the security measures added to the PC version of Street Fighter V.” If you haven’t updated the game yet then we guess you won’t really need to worry about this. However if you have, then hopefully this roll back will resolve any issues you’ve had with the game.
