It was unclear as to when this program would be kicking off, but now thanks to a report from SamMobile, it seems that the program has already gone live in the US, and where Samsung has already started to sell refurbished flagship handsets. According to Samsung, these handsets have been completely refurbished by Samsung’s own engineers.
They will also come with brand new headphones and chargers, and will also be covered by the same 1-year warranty that all new devices get, so essentially you are getting an almost brand new smartphone for a slightly lower price (from what we can tell, you could save anywhere between $30-$200).
Of course supply will largely depend on customers so don’t expect to find all models available at all times, but you can try your luck every now and then. If this is something you might be interested in, hit up Samsung’s website for the details on how to purchase them.
