Roku today announced the biggest streaming player launch in its history. It has introduced the new Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere+, and Roku Ultra. These new models join the recently refreshed Roku Streaming Stick to ensure that there’s something for all customers. The company has made its all-new Roku lineup to ensure that there’s a streaming player available for every price point.
Aside from launching a brand new lineup of streaming players, Roku has also confirmed that there are now more than 100 streaming channels in its search feature which provide users with a wide variety of content that they might like to stream.
The Roku Express costs just $29.99 and provides 1080p content streaming as well as a complete channel lineup. The Roku Express+ is for those who have older TVs as it supports a composite jack and A/V cable for $39.99.
Roku Premiere and Roku Premiere+ cost $79.99 and $99.99 respectively and come with the ability to stream up to 4K in up to 60 frames-per-second. The latter also features HDR and its remote has a headphone jack.
Roku Ultra is for those who want the best streaming experience and are willing to spend $129.99. It also has support for Dolby Digital Plus decode, voice search, and lost remote finder. All of the new streaming players are available for pre-order today and will be available in stores starting October 9th. The Roku Express+ will only be sold at Walmart.
