Much has already been said and written about the iPhone 7. We’ve seen purported leaked pictures of the handset itself, many of its internal components, and now a couple of images have been leaked online which show us the purported retail box of Apple’s next-generation smartphone. It’s quite common now to see these kinds of leaks before the handset is officially announced, and the official announcement isn’t that far off.
Apple has already scheduled an event for tomorrow where it’s going to launch the iPhone 7. It’s also expected that the company will unveil the Apple Watch 2 tomorrow, whether or not that happens remains to be seen.
Twitter leakster @the_malignant has posted a couple of pictures online of what’s claimed to be the iPhone 7’s retail box. The device that’s printed on top of this box does appear similar to what we have already heard about the iPhone 7 even though it’s impossible to say right now whether this packaging is genuine or fake.
The iPhone 7 is expected to be an evolutionary update as Apple is believed to be holding on to all the good stuff until next year when it will be the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. All of the improvements that are likely to be introduced with the iPhone 7 were recently described in detail by an infamous Apple analyst who has been right on several accounts in the past.
Apple’s official iPhone 7 event is going to take place tomorrow and a live stream will be available for those who want to follow the proceedings online.
