When converted we’re looking at a little over $200, although TechCrunch believes that it might be rounded down to about $199 when it makes its way stateside. To be fair since pricing of the Oculus Touch controllers was not revealed in the first place, it really could have been anything, but we guess since customers already shelled out a few hundred for the Oculus Rift, and now they’re expected to pay an additional $200 is definitely not sitting well with many.
However it should be noted that the reason why it is more expensive than many had thought could be due to the fact that it comes with an additional camera sensor that helps improve tracking. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for its US price, but given its price in the UK, don’t expect too big of a difference.
