The thing about EA published games is that if you were to buy them via EA Access or Origin Access, you would typically be able to access the game a little earlier than everyone else. If you were hoping for the same treatment for the upcoming Titanfall 2, which will be released this October, you’d be out of luck.
This has been confirmed by the developers of Titanfall 2 themselves to the folks at Game Reactor. According to Respawn, they have confirmed that gamers will not be granted early access to the game and that it will not be part of EA Access or Origin Access when it launches this October.
It is unclear as to why they have made this decision, but what this means for gamers is that you guys won’t be able to gain early access, try it for free, or get any discounts. Respawn tells Game Reactor that they might be considering adding it to EA Access or Origin Access in the future, but for now we suppose gamers shouldn’t hold their breath.
No doubt this is disappointing news for gamers, although we can’t be sure if this will have a negative impact on the game’s launch which last we checked, was set for the 28th of October.
