We’ve seen lots of great new products being announced at IFA 2016 in Berlin and Sennheiser is adding to the list. The company has almost always unveiled new products at the IFA stage and it’s sticking with tradition in 2016. New Sennheiser headphones have been announced today.
Sennheiser’s new HD 4 lineup consists of fairly big around-ear headphones that will be offered in three different configurations. They offer passive noise cancelling which is a good feature to have if you’re looking for a great listening experience.
Just because they’re big doesn’t mean they have to be bulky. Sennheiser’s new headphones are actually lightweight and foldable with a cable that offers built-in volume control and in-line calling. The company’s new HD 2 line are slim on-ear headphones which replace Sennheiser’s PX 100, 200 and HD 200 series headphones.
Sennheiser has also announced an update to its HD 500 lineup of over-ear headphones. The HD 559, 569, 579, and 599 all feature large earcups and replaceable pads which use the company’s EAR technology to provide a better sound experience. With the exception of the 569 all headphones in this lineup are open-back.
The company has confirmed that it’s going to start shipping all of these new headphones later this month. However, it’s yet to confirm how much its new products are going to cost.
