Anyone and everyone is getting into the smartwatch game right now. We’re seeing fashion brands jump into the world of smartwatches as well. Michael Kors sells watches among other things and the brand has now released its Access smartwatches. The wearable devices were first teased earlier this year. They are available in two different styles and run on Android Wear.
The Access “Dylan” style is geared towards men who like sports watches while the “Bradshaw” style features an all-metal design and is geared more towards females. One thing that’s common between both styles is that they are chunky as well as hefty and they start at $350.
There doesn’t appear to be any major differences in size for the models meant for men and women. The Access smartwatches are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 2100 processor for wearable devices, feature a color touchscreen 320×290 pixel resolution display, a speaker, and activity tracking features. They don’t have a heart rate monitor.
Since these wearable devices run on Android Wear you should expect similar functionality when compared to other Android Wear smartwatches. The Access smartwatches do feature custom watch faces that are similar to the analog designs found on normal Michael Kors watches.
Michael Kors has released the Access smartwatch today in 18 countries including the United States. Prices start at $350.
