We suppose it might be too early to tell if the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are living up to the hype, but it seems that as far as pre-orders on T-Mobile are concerned, the new iPhones are doing very well. This is according to T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere (via AppleInsider) who claimed that pre-orders for the iPhone 7 are 4 times more than that of the iPhone 6.
It’s interesting that he used the iPhone 6 as a benchmark since we would be more curious as to how it holds up against the iPhone 6s, but we guess it’s still quite an accomplishment all the same. According to Legere during his live stream on Periscope, “The first four days of the iPhone 7 launch are by far the biggest ever for T-Mobile.”
He also revealed that both the black finishes are the more popular options with customers at the moment, with the matte black finish taking the lead. Unfortunately while all this optimism is great, Apple did state that they no longer plan on releasing first weekend sales numbers so we guess we’ll have to wait for Apple’s next financials to figure out how many iPhones they’ve sold.
