Not everyone can afford to splurge $600-700 on the latest high-end smartphone, which is why companies such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and OnePlus have flourished, because they have created handsets with decent specs for affordable prices. If you’re in the market for a mid-ranger, you’ll also be pleased to learn that HTC has some new devices for you.
As per HTC’s previous tease, the company has officially taken the wraps off two new handsets: the HTC Desire 10 Pro and the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle. So apart from a difference in name, what are the differences? For starters, the Desire 10 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Helio P10 processor, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, a 20MP rear-facing camera, a 13MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,000mAh battery.
As for the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, this phone features slightly lower-end specs with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,700mAh battery, and BoomSound speakers.
In terms of pricing and availability, the company has not mentioned anything about that yet, so customers in the US will have to wait and see if and when the phones come, and which carriers might be interested in offering them.
