HP would be a good example of this. The company has recently announced the EliteDisplay S240UJ at IFA 2016, and what makes this particular monitor unique is that at its base lies a wireless charger. This means that if you have a smartphone or tablet that supports wireless charging, just place your device on the base of the monitor and you’ll be good to go.
Other features include a USB-C port that lets you connect your PC, notebook, smartphone, or tablet to the monitor. There are also built-in speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen. Its display size is 23.8-inches and has a QHD resolution, a 5ms response time, an aspect ratio of 16:9, 300cd/m2 brightness, and a 178-degree viewing angle.
We are also looking at ports such as DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI/MHL, Video/Audio/HDCP, and USB 3.0 for data. Overall this is a beautifully-designed monitor with some pretty useful features. However HP did not mention anything about its pricing or availability just yet.
