IO Interactive’s episodic Hitman game is proceeding nicely. Four episodes have been released so far, bringing tons of exciting missions and additional content. The developer today revealed the Hitman Episode 5 location and release date. The latest episode is set in Colorado, USA and it’s going to be released later this month.
The story mission for Hitman Episode 5 is titled “Freedom Fighters” and IO Interactive says that it’s not to be taken likely. Agent 47 will be tasked with infiltrating a Colorado farm compound that has been converted into a private militia training camp.
Players will have to locate and take out four different targets. IO Interactive says that the latest episode provides an intense infiltration mission and that it’s the toughest assignment yet for Agent 47. The four targets include Sean Rose, Maya Parvati, Ezra Berg and Penelope Graves. They are all very different and very dangerous people with their own special skills.
Hitman Episode 5 brings new gear, weapons, and items for Agent 47 aside from 70 new challenges and all-new opportunities and disguises. The new gear will be available for use in all locations released so far. The latest episode also brings huge story revelations as the story continues its march towards a thrilling climax.
Hitman Episode 5 is going to be released on September 27th. IO Interactive has already confirmed that the season finale is based in Japan and it’s going to be released by the end of this year.
