We then heard the rumors that Fujifilm could be next with a more affordable version (the rumors have suggested that Fujifilm should have been first to the market). As to when this particular camera will be announced, new rumors have suggested that we will probably be treated to the camera’s announcement on the 19th of September which is pretty much around Photokina 2016.
Fujifilm has already confirmed their presence at Photokina this year so it is possible that maybe the company has some new products to announce, or we suppose at the very least they’ll be showing off cameras like the X-Pro2, X-T2, and maybe some new lenses, but we wouldn’t mind a medium format mirrorless camera all the same!
According to Fuji Rumors, the camera will be launched with 3 lenses – 2 prime lenses and 1 zoom lens. As for price, it is said that the camera will be cheaper than Hasselblad’s X1D by about $2,000-$3,000. Granted this is still pretty expensive but it does make it more accessible.
