Heads up PS4 gamers, as you might be aware, you guys will be having an exclusive on the multiplayer beta for the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare title. However this won’t be a permanent exclusive but rather a timed one, and if you’re wondering how long you’ll get to lord this over your non-PS4 friends, you have pretty much a week to do so.
Activision has recently announced that the multiplayer beta dates for the PS4 is expected to kick off on the 14th of October at 10am PT. This is a week ahead of Xbox One gamers who will only get to play the beta on the 21st of October, and with the developers ending the beta on the 24th of October, basically PS4 gamers get a full 10 days to enjoy the beta while Xbox One gamers only have about 3 days.
Timed exclusives aren’t new and if you’re not too fussed about participating in betas then we guess this isn’t really a big deal. However if you are, then we guess if you own an Xbox One then you’re pretty much out of luck. Unfortunately PC gamers have it worse because there is no multiplayer beta planned for the PC, despite the fact that the game will be released for the PC as well.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is expected to be released on the 4th of November. The game’s trailer has received many dislikes, so we guess the upcoming multiplayer beta will give us a clue as to whether we can expect the game to be as bad as gamers had feared, or if it was really a lot of fuss about nothing.
