Speaking to Metro, Bethesda’s VP of marketing Pete Hines said that the company will most probably be hosting a press conference at E3 2017. According to Hines, “Given what I know about what we’re gonna have going on next year, and what we’re gonna have to talk about, I would say that we’d probably have enough stuff to fill the time. And again, mostly because I really continue to like the idea of being able to talk to everybody about what we’re doing at the same time.”
He adds, “So yeah, knowing what I know, I think we would probably do another one next year.” This is interesting as back in 2015 in which Hines hinted that the company’s conferences at E3 might not necessarily be a recurring thing. Hines said at that time that due to the way the company releases their games, they might not necessarily have something worth sharing on a press conference scale every year, and that a booth might be more than suitable to accomplish what they want to share.
That being said, there are several games that Bethesda could be working on that might be announced next year, such as a new Wolfenstein game as well as a possible release date for Prey.
