What this means is that only 33% of those surveyed are interested. In addition, the study found that 32% of those surveyed did not find any advantages in the new iPhone, which might explain why some are so hesitant on upgrading. On the other hand, 19% actually say that the longer battery life is one of the phone’s advantages followed by 18% who say its water resistant features, and 11% who love the new camera features.
Now these surveys don’t necessarily mean that only 33% of customers will buy the iPhone. There are many reasons that could change one’s mind, such as using the phone themselves and they discover that they like it, or it could be that their phone is damaged and they decide that now might be a good time to get a new phone.
Interestingly enough while this survey seems to hint that customers just aren’t that into the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, carriers such as T-Mobile and Sprint have been boasting about how pre-orders are quadruple the previous generations.
