According to one user, “They didn’t touch all the mouse issues that plagued the original. Mouse sensitivity slider doesn’t work right. If you lower the sensitivity to 1, the mouse cursor doesn’t [move] unless you fling your mouse.” This is just one of the several issues with the remaster, but the good news is that it looks like 2K is looking into them and are planning a fix.
2K’s post on Steam reads, “Since the launch of BioShock and BioShock 2 Remastered, some players have been reporting stability issues, while others have asked for additional feature support. We hear you and we’re happy to report we’re addressing this feedback soon.” Some of the issues they’re looking at include the mouse issue, additional speaker mode options, improved FoV slider options, support for 21:9 display ratios, and general stability improvements.
No word on when these issues will be fixed, but hopefully it will be soon. In the meantime we will keep an eye out for its release.
