The three models include the Gear S3 Classic, the Gear S3 Frontier, and the Gear S3 Explorer. Now if you might recall, the previous Gear S3 rumor seemed to hint that there would be features geared more towards active users, and apparently this is where the Gear S3 Frontier and Explorer will come into play as both models are said to appeal to the more active user.
The Classic, as its name implies, will be more of a traditional smartwatch, and will also come with the rotary bezel that we heard about. Given that Samsung’s previous Gear smartwatches came with the feature, we guess it shouldn’t be surprising to learn that Samsung will be sticking to the current design.
In any case the Gear S3 devices are expected to be unveiled at IFA 2016 which is kicking off next month, so if you’re in the market for a new smartwatch, check back with us then for the details.
