Sony confirmed yesterday that the PlayStation Meeting event is going to take place on September 7th at The PlayStation Theater in New York. It hasn’t revealed anything about what it’s going to talk about at the event.
It’s interesting to note that PlayStation Meeting was also the same name that Sony used for its event back in February 2013 where it unveiled the PlayStation 4 for the very first time. You can easily connect the dots here.
Rumors about the PlayStation 4 Neo indicate that the console will be able to support 4K resolution for both games and video. It will be Sony’s answer to Microsoft’s Project Scorpio, the 4K-ready Xbox One that’s currently being developed.
Sony has only confirmed that it’s going to provide a live stream of the event, it’s going to reveal more information about how everybody will be able to tune in as we get close to September 7th.
