Now we should point out that the Z series of Tizen phones from Samsung don’t always pack the greatest specs, and this is largely done to make the phones more affordable. This also appears to be what Samsung has continued to do with the Samsung Z2, with the rumored specs including a 3.97-inch 800×480 display, and a 1.5GHz processor.
There will also be 1GB of RAM accompanying the phone with 8GB of storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, and a VGA front-facing camera. There is also a 1,500mAh battery under the hood with support for GPS, Bluetooth, Glonass, WiFi, and LTE, just to name a few. It also appears that the phone won’t be launching in North American markets.
According to SamMobile, the countries it will be launched in includes Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Turkey, South Africa, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. It is also rumored to be priced at around $70 and will be officially revealed come 11th of August.
