Samsung Might Offer Gear Fit 2 As Freebie With Galaxy Note 7

Samsung is finally going to introduce the Galaxy Note 7 tomorrow and we will get to known when it’s going to arrive and how much it’s going to cost. Back when the Galaxy S7 was launched the company decided to hype the launch by giving a free Gear VR unit to all customers who pre-ordered the handset. It appears that the company might give away an even better device with the Galaxy Note 7, at least in the United States.

9to5Google reports that Samsung is working with both T-Mobile and Sprint to offer customers who pre-order the Galaxy Note 7 a Gear Fit 2 wearable activity tracker for free. The wearable device was recently launched and it costs $179.99, some might find it more useful than the Gear VR headset.

It’s unclear at this point in time if this promotion will be expanded to Verizon and AT&T as well, the scribe certainly seems to think so, after all, they are the two leading mobile carriers in the country. This promotion may also reportedly be offered via Best Buy.

Whether or not Samsung will decide to give a free Gear Fit 2 tracker to all Galaxy Note 7 pre-order customers across the globe remains to be seen. It was very liberal with the free Gear VR units earlier this year but perhaps it might be more careful with the $180 Gear Fit 2 wearable activity tracker.
