With Samsung choosing to launch the Galaxy Note 7 at its own event and ahead of IFA, one has to wonder what could Samsung be unveiling at the event then? We have been hearing rumors that the Gear S3 could make its debut, and sure enough Samsung’s invite to the event seems to hint at just that.
As you can see in the image above, it shows the invite that Samsung has been sending out to IFA 2016. If it wasn’t obvious already, there are a pair of clock hands smack in the middle of the invite, and unless Samsung is planning on announcing something else, there’s a good chance that this is a hint that the Gear S3 will be announced at the event.
We have been hearing bits and pieces regarding the Gear S3 smartwatch. For starters one of the earlier rumors hinted that it will be retaining the same circular design and the rotary bezel found in its predecessor. We have also heard that there could be more than one variant, three in fact.
Two of which are said to be aimed at more active users, while one will be more in line with Samsung’s previous offerings. In any case we guess we’ll find out soon enough so do check back with us in a couple of weeks for the details.
