Safe to say that not many Pokemon GO players are thrilled over the app’s latest update, which not only broke many third-party apps, but it also seemed to have removed some features that some found useful. On top of that, there have been reports by players that for some reason, Pokemon are much harder to catch, even the low level ones.The good news is that this was not intentional. In fact it seems like this could be a bug, or at least that’s what Niantic is claiming on Twitter in which they also promised that they are working on a fix that will be released in the near future. “Trainers, a new bug affecting throw accuracy increases the odds of escape and omits the XP bonus. We are working on a fix, stay tuned…”
Unfortunately the developer did not provide any specific dates to the release of the bug fix, so we guess gamers really have no choice but to wait. However hopefully its release will come sooner rather than later. The developer’s lack of communication and slowness when it comes to addressing issues has caused frustration for a lot of gamers.
A game that was considered the darling of mobile games in recent times has quickly soured amongst gamers, but hopefully Niantic will be able to sort all of this out soon.
