Bandai Namco announced last month that the sequel to the popular Pac-Man Championship Edition is going to be released in September. Aptly titled Pac-Man Championship Edition 2, the sequel comes nearly eight years after the original game arrived back in 2007. The title has been developed by Bandai Namco studios in Tokyo, Japan and it features amazing 3D mazes and new features that enhance the Pac-Man experience. The Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 release date has been confirmed today.
Bandai Namco today confirmed the release date for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2. The game is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.
The new game improves upon the original title’s “Chain Eating” mechanics as it enables players to build up to four ghost trains before chowing down to gain maximum chompage points. Score Attack mode, a fan-favorite, is back in this title with players being required to gather as many points as they can in a tight time limit.
Also added to the game is a new Adventure Mode which will find users chasing fast moving fruit, battling giant new bosses, and finding new ways to play Pac-Man.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on September 13th. It costs $12.99.
