As you can see in the photos, the Samsung Z2 is pretty straightforward in terms of its design, similar to its predecessor the Samsung Z1. Given that the phone is aimed more at users who want a value for money handset, we guess design wasn’t necessarily a priority here. However Samsung has made some changes, such as its curved back which should make it sit in one’s palm a bit more comfortably.
Other than that, the phone sports rather thick bezels around its display. There is also a home button, which from what we have heard will probably not come with a fingerprint sensor. Other than that, the rumored specs of the phone includes a 3.97-inch 800×480 display, and under the hood a 1.5GHz quad-core processor can be found, but no word on the make or model yet.
There is also 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a first for a Tizen handset – LTE. It is rumored to be priced around $70 but no word on when it will be officially available for purchase.
