The good news is that it looks like Microsoft has finally gotten around to updating its iPhone app by introducing the same finger-drawing feature. This will pretty much apply to the entire suite of Office apps, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. According to Microsoft, “Use your finger to write, draw and highlight with the tools in the new Draw tab.”
So like we said, this will make it much easier for users to draw out shapes, or make rough annotations, or point out certain things on their documents, spreadsheets, or presentation slides. In addition to the finger-drawing feature, the update will also bring about support for Citrix for storing and accessing your documents.
The update should already be live so if you have yet to update the iPhone version of the Office apps, then head on over to the iTunes App Store to update them.
