Sling TV, a standalone online TV streaming service by Dish, confirmed last week that NFL Network and NFL RedZone will both be going live on the service soon. The channels were due to be launched in time for the regular season kickoff, they will enable subscribers to watch every touchdown with NFL RedZone while also being able to access extensive coverage from the NFL Network 24/7. NFL Network and NFL RedZone are both live on Sling TV now.
NFL Network will automatically become available today in the channel guide for all Sling Blue subscribers. NFL Network will provide live and delayed coverage of all of the 64 NFL preseason games. Those who want to watch every touchdown throughout the season will need NFL RedZone.
They will have to pay for it, though. NFL RedZone is part of Sling Blue’s “Sports Extra” add-on pack which requires an additional payment for $5 per month after subscribing to the core Sling Blue service.
Current subscribers who are on Sling Orange can add Sling Blue to their service by signing into their account via sling.com.
Subscribers will also be able to access both NFL Network and NFL RedZone through the Watch NFL Network this season which is available on NFL.com, the NFL app for mobile devices and for connected TVs.
