Fossil introduced two new Android Wear-powered smartwatches earlier this year and today it has confirmed that they will be available for pre-order starting this Friday. The Fossil Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches will be available from the company’s online store as well as through retail stores from August 29th. Both smartwatches have touchscreen displays and are compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.
“These slim yet highly functional smartwatches reflect the elevated design of a Fossil watch while incorporating a digital experience that’s important to today’s customer,” said Jill Elliott, chief creative officer at Fossil.
The Q Wander and Q Marshal feature a touchscreen, always-on display, a 45mm case size, notifications with vibration, refined steel and classic leather accents, interchangeable straps, magnetic charger, microphone and speaker, activity tracking, and more.
The Q Marshal has more of a rugged case while the Q Wander has a soft curving, multi-finish case. Both smartwatches have endless options when it comes to interchangeable straps that are available in materials such as silicone, leather, and stainless steel. Customizable options are available for the hand style and color, dial’s color, numbering, and sub-eyes.
Customers who are interested in picking one up should keep in mind that the Q Marshal and Q Wander start at $295 and will be available for pre-order via Fossil’s website starting this Friday, August 12th.
