LG has confirmed the existence of the LG V20 handset, and they have also announced that the phone will be officially unveiled on the 6th of September. Now apart from the fact that it will come with Android 7.0 Nougat and the secondary ticker display, we don’t really know much about the phone and what it will be packing under the hood.
At least until now where the alleged specs of the LG V20 have been leaked. According to the leaked information, the LG V20 is expected to maintain the same screen size as its predecessor. This means we can look forward to a 5.7-inch QHD display. However under the hood, the LG V20 will be getting an upgrade to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
This is pretty good news if true as the Snapdragon 820 can be found on other high-end flagship handsets, meaning that the LG V20 should perform just as admirably. We are also looking at 4GB of RAM, a 21MP rear-facing camera, a dual camera setup on the front similar to the LG V10, and apparently its design will also be similar to the previous model.
If anything apart from the secondary ticker display, there really doesn’t seem that much about the phone that makes it stand out, but we suppose if you did like the LG V10 or LG’s phones in general, it could still be worth checking out.
