Just recently LG confirmed that the LG V20 was in the works and will be due for an announcement in September, but the company at that time did not mention when exactly in September it will be launched. However it looks like we now have our official date, which is set for the 6th of September in San Francisco.
Unfortunately the details of the phone was not shared, which we guess is to be expected since they do want to keep the details for the event. However as per LG’s previous announcement, we know that the phone will come with Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled. Also since this is the LG V20 which is the successor of last year’s LG V10, we’re guessing the secondary ticker display will be making an appearance.
Other than that, we’re really not sure what else we can expect. It is possible that LG could be maintaining the same 5.7-inch screen size, and we suppose some changes we can expect would be to the processor, RAM, and maybe the camera department. We also expect that it should be priced around the same as its predecessor, but we can’t be sure of the specifics yet.
In any case remember to check back with us next month for the details, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more possible information that could appear ahead of time.
