Lenovo Miix 510 Launched With Detachable Keyboard

Not all hybrid devices are created equal. For example a lot of hybrids/convertibles we’ve seen are usually laptops with touchscreen displays that can spin around and turn into some kind of tablet. The only downside to such a design is that the bulk from the keyboard and innards of the laptop make for a rather hefty and bulky tablet.

Now if you’re after something similar to the Surface Pro tablets from Microsoft, you’ll be pleased to learn that Lenovo has announced the Miix 510. This is a hybrid kind of device that allows users to turn the device into a full tablet, or if they want a bit more productivity, they have the option of attaching a keyboard to it.

Under the hood, Lenovo will be giving the Miix 510 a 6th gen Intel Core i7 processor. We are also looking at a 12.2-inch display, and the device even comes with an integrated kickstand so that users can prop it up on a table or on their laps. It will also run on a full version of Windows 10, so users won’t have to worry about productivity. The Miix 510 will also come with support for LTE, but that will be region-specific.

For those who might be interested in such a device, Lenovo will be selling the Miix 510 this October with a price tag starting at $599.99.
