If you don’t really follow dramas or musical artists in Asia, then the name Jimmy Lin might not be one that is familiar to you, although oddly enough he is known for other things completely unrelated to music or acting, and that is by somehow managing to obtained unannounced iPhones ahead of everyone else.
In the past we saw Lin pose with iPhones like the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 6, and both times ahead of their announcement. Now it looks like Lin is back and this time he appears to be posing with what appears to be the iPhone 7 Plus, which is distinctive due to its dual camera setup and the design of said camera.
Now it is unclear if Lin is holding the actual handset, a working prototype, or maybe just a dummy unit. We have seen several dummy units in the past on video, so it is possible that what Lin is holding could be a fake unit. However like we said, in the past Lin has somehow managed to get the phones before they are released, which are later proven to be the real deal so maybe he has done it again.
In any case with the new iPhone rumored for a launch in early September, we guess we’re only a couple of weeks away from learning all about it.
