The much-rumored Honor 8 smartphone was made official by Huawei last week. It’s being released in the United States as a potential competitor against the Galaxy S series and the iPhone by promising users with a great user experience at an affordable price. Customers in the United States who are interested in picking one up can now do so via Huawei.

Huawei is asking $399 for the 32GB base variant of the Honor 8 while 64GB storage is also available for $449. To commemorate the launch of its new handset in the U.S. the company is running a promotion for a limited time that enables customers to save $50 off the handset’s retail price.

To use this promotion and get $50 off your order, simply enter the promotion code H8PREREG at checkout and the price will automatically be slashed by $50. That’s a good deal on a handset that’s already very competitively priced.

Huawei Honor 8 is powered by a Kirin 950 processor, features 4GB of RAM, has a 5.2 inch full HD and supports microSD cards up to 256GB. It has a 12 megapixel dual camera setup on the back and an 8 megapixel selfie camera upfront with a separate LED flash.
