So we have been hearing a bit about GoPro’s upcoming Hero5 camera, such as its ability to shoot in 3D, and that it will sport a touchscreen display. Now thanks to a post on Japanese website Nokishita Camera (via Photo Rumors), the alleged specs of the camera have since been revealed.
We should note that Nokishita Camera has since taken down their post and we’re not sure why, but these are the alleged specs. We are looking at a camera that weighs 118g with battery, and 90g without. It measures 62 mm x 44.6 mm x 33.7 mm and will come with a USB Type-C port and HDMI. It will also support microSD cards up to 64GB, and will come with a touchscreen LCD display.
According to the specs, we are also looking at the camera’s ability to shoot in 4K at 30fps, 2.7K at 60fps, and 1140p at 80fps. Full HD can be recorded at 120fps which should result in some pretty buttery smooth footage. There is no mention of whether or not the camera can shoot in 3D, so we guess maybe we should take that with a grain of salt.
It is also packing a 1,220mAh battery and will support WiFi and Bluetooth. There is also no word on when the camera will be announced, but at the rate of the leaks, we reckon it shouldn’t be too long until we get the official word.
